Not to interrupt the lovefest we've got going on here, but we do have some actual business to conduct. First of all, in case it sneaked up on you, "Pippin" opens this week!!!!! Yesterday was the cue-to-cue technical rehearsal, followed by an actual rehearsal (followed by a rehearsal hangover today for all involved, I'm sure). The preview performance is this Thursday, and opening night is Friday!! Tickets for preview are $5 at the door only; for all other performances, they are $16 at Book Gallery West or at the door the night of the performance (although tickets at the door are not guaranteed, so if you want to be certain, get them early at BGW). Please note that although Sarah Viscovich will be playing the role of Catherine throughout the regular run of the show, Elizabeth Dean will play the role at preview, so friends of both ladies will want to make the necessary arrangements.
On another note, auditions for the GCP's next play, "Daddy's Dyin': Who's Got the Will?" are this Sunday and Monday, March 22-23, at 7 p.m. at the Vam York Theater. If you're interested in auditioning, please visit the GCP web site for more information.
See you this week!
